HD Series truck cap warranty
The HD Series truck cap is available for both the CX and MX cap profiles. It features an internal skeleton that triples the weight capacity of the roof rack and side toolboxes. The HD Series truck cap has a limited lifetime warranty.
The body, which includes the fiberglass shell and mounting rails, is warranted to be structurally free from defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original retail purchaser owns the cap and the original vehicle. A.R.E. also warrants that the exterior paint will not abnormally fade or peel due to material or workmanship defect faster than the original pickup it was installed on by an authorized A.R.E. retail dealer.
The internal skeleton frame is warranted for three years from the retail date of purchase against failure due to defects in material and workmanship. All other hardware is covered under standard A.R.E. fiberglass truck cap warranties.
Gas props are covered under a five-year limited warranty against failure due to loss of pressure. This does not cover damage due to misuse or neglect, and users are advised to never wipe the shaft of the props with anything other than a dry soft cloth. Regular operation of the props will increase the life of the product by lubricating the seals and shafts.
Aluminum-framed windows, doors, and tailgate-formed door frames, as well as their hardware, 12-volt and rope lighting, battery lights, prop light switch, and ActiveTilt, are warranted for one year from the purchase date. Also covered for one year are all seals, brackets, locking hardware, and screens. Glass breakage is not covered under any warranty.
Frameless windows installed with urethane are warranted for one year from the purchase date. Again, glass breakage is not covered under this or any other warranty.
